Half and Half in a ridiculously massive $15 grade Marxman Big Boy. Each early Benchmade or Jumbo Marxman was hand cut and different, and this one is so soft you can scratch it with a fingernail, easily. Each one used oil cured, unstained, unvarnished and unpainted Algerian briar. The colors are from smoking. You cannot imagine what good smokers these were until you own one. Larger ones are milder, but little ones give me nictotine hiccups smoking drug store blends.
I think most of the $15 grade pipes were 400 attempts, the tell tale sign is the 400 saddle stem without a gold band.

Big N burley in my Altinay I smoked 3 times and forgot about.
Beautiful midwest spring morning! Enjoying a homemade mix by @dottlejockey consisting of Virginias, Burley, and Perique in a Comoy Guildhall. The blend is very well balanced, with a nice chocolate and stone fruit flavor. Smokes cool and even. Nicely done, great spring blend and makes me want to explore burleys a bit more!
