While out lunting with my Legend 2nd and some D&R Windsail, I encountered a round faced Siamese cat who was out on his regular a.m. hunt yet seemed to be cordial and friendly to a wandering pipe smoker.

He followed me around, showed off his tree climbing skills a couple of times, ate some discarded popcorn by the dumpster in the parking lot, and then I gave him some old out of date 2% milk I had.

No collar, but too nice not to have an owner in the complex here somewhere.

Just opened a 20 years old tin of Dunhill early morning pipe. I am intrigued about what I have read here regarding aging of English blends. This has very little Latakia, may be it is a bad choice to make up my mind regarding this issue. This has never been an staple, it was a present my mother gave me, one of those tubs with five tins inside that used to be sold at duty free shops in airports; still two tins unopened after all these years. I find age has made no harm to tobacco, it was as moist as usual for a Murray´s Dunhill recently opened tin.

The tub it came in has been used as my desk pipe cleaner holder for the last twenty years; I remember my mother´s present every day.
