Last night I played the first of my 3 Yusef Lateef double discs (thanks Keith) and whilst playing I had a read of the microscopic liner notes and for the 1st album, we have a guy playing the balloon and another playing a 7 Up bottle (among other instruments) and I wondered how on earth one plays a balloon.
All was revealed on track 3. That is what we used to do as kids when blowing up balloons.
BTW I've always loved hearing the flute and Lateef is clearly a master of this instrument.

I really dig the Romantic era of the classical composers. Chopin, Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, etc. And Yuja Wang...amazing on the keys!
