Yesterday I played all eight albums (4 cds) back to back, what a joy!

A gem. Love Street Fighting Man. I think I read in the memoir by Keith Richards that the opening guitar riff in that track was his favourite or one of his most memorable, most proud. I don’t remember the exact word or phrase he used, as I no longer have that volume, but you get the drift. He produced the sound using a cheap cassette recorder or something like that. That alternate album cover is iconic, and is so horrible one can almost smell the stench! A great album.Right now I'm listening to Beggars Banquet on SACD by the Stones. FLCL fourth OST. Japanese band called The Pillows did the soundtrack. They call the alternative/progressive, but sounds like a good rock and roll to me.
Hard to explain this album. Formica Blues by Mono. Not exactly an elevator music. Trip hop (?) they call it.
Macy Gray. Amazing voice. Love her debut album.

Yes a great song. The only version I'd heard before this studio version was on the live album 'Get Yer Ya Yas Out'.
I'd say my favourite Stones song would be the version of 'Can't You Hear Me Knocking' on Sticky Fingers album, that's pure gold. Apparently it should have been a short song but they just carried on and jammed the rest not knowing the tape was still rolling!
