Dexys Midnight Runners. Had LP back in 80s, but only played one tune, "Come On Eileen". The album ain't half bad. Might be the Sapporo that's helping.
Bob Dylan - Shelter From the Storm
I’ve been enjoying some live Ray Charles stuff from the 60’s that I was unaware of. Had a bootleg of one of the Paris 1961 shows, but recently found that the entire run was released as “The Complete 1961 Paris Recordings”. The same company has also released the 1962 Paris shows, as well as Zurich 1961.
It’s the perfect mix of classic Ray tunes and some great jazz numbers with his greatly talented backup band.
