Just read that Wayne Kramer, the guitarist who co-created MC5 has died at age 75. So many of the punk bands that came after cited them as big influences.

Great song, and the video of footage from Easy Rider that accompanies it is just as brilliant. Peter Fonda, Jack Nicholson and Dennis Hopper cruising on their cool bikes. Always brings a smile to my face. So awesome

Just listened to the new Viral Hits album from Mia x Ally. They're a pretty talented duo. I've seen Ally play solo a few times at various Celtic & Irish festivals, but haven't been able to catch the duo on tour yet. Unfortunately, I'm going to miss them when they come to Cleveland this month because the show is on Ash Wednesday and I'll be conducting evening services during show time.

If you're into electrifying bagpipe covers of great rock songs, give them a listen. They're pretty good.
