This is one of my favorite songs, by Leonard Berstein, Betty Comden and Adolph Green, "Some Other Time" in a performance by another favorite, singer/pianist Blossom Dearie, with Ray Brown on bass and Ed Thigpen on drums.

Andrew Bocelli "Music for Hope, Live at the Duomo cathedral, Milan.

Didn't know whether to put this in the " listening" thread or the "watching" thread. Pretty moving, either way.

Listening to my LP of Hi-Fi Ellington Uptown that contains one of the greatest drum solos of all-time, "Skin Deep," a composition by drummer Louie Bellson, in a performance that will stun you.
Louie is the pioneer of the double bass drum.
