I picked up a bottle of Rittenhouse a few weeks ago. Can’t believe how good this stuff is for its price point. A true workhorse that punches way above its weight class. Glad to see another fellow man of taste on this forum!
Normally I drink Scotch Single Malt, however I do like to mix things up. Rye is my go to malternative, however today I purchased this Eagle Rare Kentucky Bourbon which is currently available in my local Scottish supermarket at a decent price. Its doughy, buttery, oily with a nutty finish. Well rounded and smooth but not overly sweet. It makes a lovely change.
