So... did it meet, exceed or miss your expectations?

It was a bit sweet and very banana. TBH both my buddy and I thought it was much better than expected. That said - I won’t be buying it again anytime soon. I will be putting the bottle in my bar though, the label art is super cool .

Can't afford single malts, but have become a real fan of Teacher's Highland Cream, a blended. Supposedly 46% single malts with emphasis on Ardmore. Pretty peaty. Just finished my weekly dram. The other evenings of the week, it's red wine.

Agreed, it is worth it just for the label. 'Very banana' is not usually what I'm looking for in a drink!

These are the fugliest cigars I have ever bought - chopped up one to smoke in a pipe (pipe tobacco is not allowed into Australia unless you obtain an import licence for personal consumption)

I’m having Sam Houston 14 year old bourbon to start the evening. Butterscotch on the nose, vanilla/toffee/oak on the palate, and a looong Kentucky Hug finish. I’m digging it!

Diet Pepsi. Need to stay dry for awhile. Things to do. Probably won't hit the bottle till near Sept.. Unless first part gets finished tomorrow. Very unlikely.

Blanton’s SFTB Old Fashioned w/ fresh VT maple syrup from a buddy in lieu of simple syrup. No fruit.

My family's namesake! Yep, I'm a Blanton, but not from the same tree branch. That stuff is extremely hard to find in these parts, so it's a treat and pleasure when I can get a bottle.

I rarely imbibe in spirits, but every once in a while, I nurse along the Chivas or JW Double Black that my brother is so fond if gifting me every Christmas.
