Especially when sniped by a pair of imbeciles. These nut jobs jacked the price from $96 to over $330 in the last few seconds of the auction. I hope the "winner" enjoys the burned out and cracked kindling that he bought.

Al, yes indeed. I think he will paying a lot more attention to pipes at future Estate Sales that he goes to! There were some great pipes, Barling's, Dunhill, and this one, which also sold very well.

Not my shape, but an excellent example this pre-war Comoy's Royal 235,

@dm and @ssjones I have vowed not to buy any new pipes in 2016 and lets face it after buying 100 pipes in 2015 I am broke for a long time. If things were a bit different I would have bought that Comoy's, that Kaywoodie and the Barling.
