Obviously I am missing something here, as there are 11 bids for this offer. Is it perhaps age? Were these Cobs made so many yrs ago that they are now worth 4-5 times the retail?

I'm not too knowledgeable, but those pipes look nicer than any cob I've ever seen. Then again, the bids could be people like me not knowing much, just going for looks.

$60 "with faint teeth marks?" W.T.F. moment... They are gold banded with vulcanite stems and one shape is no longer sold, but still...

Probably went for so much due to the gold bands (I assume that they are gold.)

Very nice pipes but I don't see myself spending that much money on two MM cobs.

It reminds me of when I used to tell my dad how much my baseball cards were worth: 'It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.' It's worth $103 to someone. Not me either though.

To me it looks like 2 bidders ( with 100% bid activity with that seller ) driving the price up....justa guess but to me it looks like the seller might be running a scam...but i could be wrong
