I don't recall I've ever been in a "weird" place. But, I readily admit a urinal located in the middle of the mountains is surely weird. I can't visualize anyone will to truck a heavy, porcelain urinal out into the sticks just for . . . well who knows. I've sat on a toilet, in full SCUBA, under the sea, off the coast of Maui but, thousands of people have done that so, hardly weird. I wasn't smoking a pipe at the time either.
So, maybe in the rear of an Aeroflot jet. I was advised smoking wasn't allowed on Russian airlines but, if I really wanted to go to the last four rows of seats, that was where smoking wasn't allowed but, permitted. Gotta love those Russians! Didn't seem weird though.

Dude smoking on an airplane certainly counts. I can't imagine!
The weirdest place I can think of right now is the shitty $5 outdoor couch on the front porch of my fraternity about a billion years ago. My roommate smoked a pipe and he introduced me to it, and I will forever be grateful. But NOBODY else smoked a pipe on campus. Tons of cigarettes, plenty of cigars around on the weekends (and a few of them even kept the tobacco inside!), but we two had the only pipes. We looked like Sherlock and Gandalf and owned every minute of it.
I don't remember having smoked a bowl in weird places. But I remember having smoked in normal places. Such as living rooms and offices. That's weird!
Did that on a flight to the UK in '92. At the time, not out of place at all.
Smoking just about anywhere back in the 80’s wasn’t weird…
As a ex Rock Climber and Mountaineer I have smoked a bowl in many mountainous countries, on top or clinging on to many mountains. I was once on top of a roof on a very high building at the company I worked for enjoying my pipe watching a man stripping paint from under the eaves on his house with a flamed paint stripper and smoke started coming from under his tiles, he could not see this from where he was working, me and my mate were shouting and screaming at him but he was to far away, his roof collapsed then his neighbours roof collapsed, we could do nothing as it would have taken us 1/2 hour to get to a phone so we just sat and watched 2 houses burn down, the fire brigade was there in 20 minutes but too late to do anything, so the weirdest place for me was smoking a pipe while 2 family's houses burnt down.
LOL, how did you get in a urinal? Did you sit on the blue thing? Did you give the bowl a warm water flush?
I can't think of anything weirder . . . makes in the garage, in the Jeep or on the deck sound pretty tame!

After the usual 'marital unpleasantness' on Sunday morning I have been known to light up the old pipe while I wipe Mr. Wibbly Wobbly off with a tissue!
The second bowl of tobacco I ever smoked was in my "married apartment" on a tobacco-free college campus -- so I sat on the toilet in the bathroom with the exhaust fan turned on.
The next morning, I could still smell the tobacco in the bathroom, and I freaked out, thinking I'd be in all sorts of trouble.
But it was gone within a day or two.
So not very weird. Just the only answer that comes to mind.

I don’t go to ‘weird’ places if I can help it, unless I’m working in wales of course.
Memorable smokes though are plentiful.
A camel ride through the desert in Israel. Styling it on the ski slopes of Andorra, with a trusty Blakemar Canadian. Sat up in the stands of a deserted Wembley Stadium. Lunting along the streets of Paris at dawn.
I’ve been called weird by people, for smoking on the khazi for my morning constitutional, but I think that’s modern societies problem, rather than any weirdness on my part.
