My wife was furloughed from her job last month. Inbetween job searches, she’s had extra time to bake & cook fantastic dinners. I’ll post a few to start it off.
Cheesie potatoes, baked chicken breasts, & asparagus last night.
It was spaghetti with green beans and cream corn. Garlic bread on the side. My wife made strawberry and blueberry pound cake for dessert. We finished our meal with a couple of cups of coffee and a smoke. It does'nt get much better than that for me.
Looks great. Tonight was homemade mac and cheese (made with WSU Cougar Cheese, cracked pepper, and chive white cheddar) and some bacon and moose sausage.
Comfort food after a long day or burning trash and choring.
Grilled chicken breasts (my task) quinoa edamame sautéed, roasted Brussels sprouts (made with bacon and almonds) wife’s parts. Nice to eat with both boys and college aged sons girlfriend.
Porter braised garlic moose brats with german style potato, onion, apple, mushroom, and bell pepper roasted veggies and a big ass Dunkweizen. Damn fine.
