It's a decent sized showroom THAT YOU CAN SMOKE IN! Gotta love Vegas casinos.
I think there were somewhere around 100 tables.
A lot of big names were there. Lee Erk, Todd Johnson, Pete Provost, Scott Klein, Scott Tinker, Brad Pohlman, Dr. Bob, Rick Newcombe, The Pipe Tart, Tonni Nielsen, smokingpipes.com, Brian Levine, Pipes & Tobacco magazine. Mike Lancaster from Tobacco Pipe Collectors was there.
Up start Dagner pipes was there. The LA Pipe Club had a table. JnJ pipes was there. Nate King was there. Smokers Haven from Columbus Ohio was there. Ye Old Pipe Shoppe from the Phoenix area was there. Don Warren was there. Solani tobacco company was there. Icarus and Briarworks were there.
I will say it seemed to be more pipes than tobacco this time around and I don't recall the Scandinavian Tobacco Group being there. Also for some reason Russ wasn't there for Pipes and Cigars.

yo sable - your first show, and I betcha not your last. Maybe next year or two I'll jump in on this great venue. I went to #2 and it was indeed fantastic. My favorite uncle lived in Vegas and I would combine missions, but sadly he passed a couple of years ago. Thanks for some grand pics and stories.

I somehow expected a West Coast pipe show to look something like this:

It was just like that. But everyone was 50 years older, 50 pounds heavier, and, thank God, fully clothed.

I was wandering through the show when time allowed leaving my table. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you Sablebrush. I may have seen you but sometimes faces and avatar photos don't quite look the same. The show was another fantastic event as always. I was lucky enough to walk away with two new Ashton's, two estate Peterson's, and an unsmoked Sasieni Four Dot Ruff Root. The show always lives up to my expectations and this one was no different. It's a no miss show and I have already made reservations at the hotel for next year. If you can only make one show per year, this is it.

Hi Doc,
Sorry that we didn't connect up, but there will be another opportunity since I'll be back next year if at all possible. I'd like to do Chicago, but it takes place at a time of the year when production is going full tilt boogie.
Brewshooter, great to meet you as well.
The whole experience was great fun. And finding that Rad at a bargain price was just icing on the cake.
