On my recent trip to my local B&M, I saw several Wessex pipes on display. They looked good to me, nice blasted pipes with cumberland stems. I notice neither Smoking Pipes or Pipes and Cigars carries them and was wondering if any of you have an opinion or experience with them. Here is one I'm kind of liking.

I can tell you that they are fantastic smoking pipes.

They have a hand-cut Cumberland stem on them and they really are superb smokers. They were around $55.00 (a great deal) when my pipe mentor and I bought ours. Here is a Canadian version of the pipe for you to see.

I’ve owned several (only have one at the moment, a paneled billiard) and they are very nice. At under $100, they compare well with any other pipe in that range.

Thanks for the input guys. I might swing back by there soon and take another look at them. They have 11 different shapes of these. Three or four of them would fit right in with me.

I have a 601 straight bulldog. It was a little tight for my liking, so I opened it up to 5/32", which I do to a lot of my pipes. Smokes wonderfully and was well worth the money I paid for it. I don't know the exact weight of it, but it's plenty light enough for me.
