I received this pipe in a lot that someone local was giving away. I asked about the pipe on a couple of forums and the consensus is nobody knows what the heck this thing is. It’s marked “LUCERNA 95” on the bottom of the shank and has an ST on the top of the stem. It might be French…or Italian…but maybe, probably not.

The bowl was all beat to crap down to bare wood with some burning so I stripped it, gave it a salt and alcohol treatment and topped the rim.

Here is the stem that the previous owner mistook for chewing gum. I used heat to get some of the teeth marks out then mixed charcoal and super glue to build up the button and fill the remaining marks.
