Enjoy the ride! Adding anything else? I've got 10 tins of Smyrna in the bank, thinking of popping one open soon.
Enjoy, Warren!

I just ordered 10 of them myself. I probably won't be around for awhile. I'm going to camp out in front of my mailbox and wait for them to come in.

I ordered 2. If I like the first tin I'll order more to cellar. If I'm on the fence, the second tin allows me to make up my mind.

I stopped by Pipes and Cigars today to chat with Russ and he took me back to the warehouse to show me the War Horse Ready Cut on the shelf...

I smoked my first bowl of production War Horse Loose Cut today, and let me tell you I am pleased as punch. It's even better than the prototype, but only insofar as it's a little smokier (Dark Fired), at least to my taste. If I smoked all day, this could be an all-day smoke for me. ;-)

Got my tins today, why is it that P&C has to remove the sleeves for 5 packs? Its so much easier to store when tins are wrapped in nice manageable 5 packs...

The tins were not sleeved. They were having some kind of difficulties with that machine.
Is there an ETA on the War Horse Plug??
No, but I will keep everyone apprised. For YOU Dan, I can share some of that latest prototype next time that i see you!

I'm going to have to give this a try. Really, I've been so impressed with Bengal Slices that a I might buy a tin of all the STC blends to sample. I hear John Cotton's Smyrna is the bomb, too.

I loved the sample at the West Coast Show. If the final product seems to have a bit more Dark Fired Kentucky then it should be a grand slam for me. Can't wait for the tin to arrive!
