I stumbled across a pouch of Velvet at a flea market. Is it possible to get an idea of how old it is before I pull the trigger? A little background on the seller. He has had in the past some amazing things. Early sixties still moist and smokeable tobacco. Bought all three different tins. Several meerschaum pipes. Picked all but the one up. A humidor half full of mystery aromatic tobacco that needed a little moisture. My big fear is that I will insult him with a low offer. His wheelhouse seems to be nostalgic things from my childhood. I do not want to reveal too much because he is like my own private hunting grounds. Oh did I mention that I really want to try Velvet. Thanks guys and gals.
