I distilled youthful over-accessorizing down to a watch, a Seiko Tri-Graph. Then, four years ago, the battery finally gave its last, and I was informed at a certified Seiko retailer that I would have to ship the watch to a centralized service center to have the battery replaced and the watch to retain its water resistance (pressurized repair room and all that jazz). I put the watch back in its original box. No jewelry anymore. One iPhone or another has more or less served as a pocket watch to me since.

Only bling I have is my wedding band. Originally I was looking at tungsten or titanium, but my wife wasnt impressed. We went with gold and platinum instead. It is a modest design, and I am happy with it too.

Hmhaines, have you found a way to continue working on your projects during the move?
