A lighter I inherited after my dad's passing has remained original as I didn't want to feel as if I had defaced a memory of him. My wife convinced me that using the original case but replacing the insert with one made for a pipe wouldn't be that bad, so I found a pipe Zippo at Wal-Mart today for $10 and made the conversion.

I'm kidding - I'm always a little jealous when someone has a pipe or lighter from a departed family member. It makes it much more than the sum of its parts.
