Unpacking A Giant Shipment of Neerups! Uptown's Smoke Shop Nashville

Here is the second installment of my visit to Uptown's Smoke Shop in Nashville, TN. I had a great time yesterday morning hanging out, sampling tobaccos and watching them unpack this shipment of Neerups for an event they are having next week. Two staff members, Joe and Mike, show them off!

I couldn't stand there all day taking pictures with my phone. Here are my two favorites.

There are two nice smoking areas. One up front by the tobacco bar with couch and bar stools. The second a larger area by the walk in humidor.

It's calling my name!

I've visited twice now and purchased something each visit. Tomorrow I will post my impressions of my visits and share my purchases.

Yes Kevin. It is a great place! I live in Panama City, FL. There are several very nice cigar shops but little for pipe smokers. I would love to open a place like this for my second career! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are very interested in building their pipe business. - bp

I suspect, though, that it might be a little bit like the joke a lot of boutique winery owners tell: "Do you know the winery owner's secret for ending the year with 1 million dollars in the bank?"
"Start the year with 2 million."
But, yeah, that's a dream of mine as well. (The pipe shop. Not losing a million dollars in one year.)

You're probably right Bob. It's just a shame there aren't more nice shops around. This one is in a very large and affluent metro area. -bp

It would be wonderful to work in a place like this, except it would be terrible to have to work

in a place like this. I mean, I'd love to be around the pipes but would hate being distracted

by the customers! Seriously, I bet the staff and customers have some good times. Obviously,

there is a devoted community of pipe smokers there in Nashville.
