Okay. I understand the use of white and blue, but not the "rougher" colors like black and brown. Do you use it at all and if so...for what?

Ehhh, most pipe makers don't use blue that I know of. Red or brown is done as a polishing stage, to get the fine sanding scratches out, then the white is used as the next, still a "polish" proper with high number grit in it, the "white diamond", and then all that is cleaned off and carnauba applied.

Thanks. I have had different colors laying around for years. Don't get me wrong they make great paperweights. I just always used paper and steel wool.
