Hi all,

My wife is over in Berlin and will be returning to the states in a couple of weeks. I am sure that she is dying to bring me over a couple of tens of tobacco.

Any suggestions of blends that she might find there that either I couldn’t get easily here or are just too expensive? I really like Virginia’s, vapers, and all though I like English at times. I have enough of those for now.

I would definitely go for the HU Tobacco blends.

Interesting blends according to your preferences could be
Director's Cut
Asmara
Haymaker
Sunset Flake
My Red Fox

Be careful, they are not available everywhere. An address in Berlin would be Der Pfeifenladen, Muthesiusstraße 9.

Besides HU, there are a number of truly wonderful tobaccos, Georg Huber Virginia Golden Flake is delicious and I could smoke it all day, every day (not found at Esterval's), Ascanian #1 and 2 which are both VA/Or/Per blends, Meistermischung #88 Virginia Flake tobacco.

Fabulous list! Much appreciated! Anyone know how much tobacco you are allowed to bring in?

I was also thinking of Huber, but unfortunately they are exclusively sold in Munich (besides online of course). Same goes for Peter Heinrichs. Ascanians come from DTM and should be available at the Pfeifenladen ?

250 gramms

Edit: Conflicting information here. While it is clear that one can bring 250 gramm INTO the EU, the other way round seems different. This website says:

Alcohol and tobacco: Each traveler over 21 years of age may import up to one liter of alcoholic beverage and either 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars or two kilograms of smoking tobacco for personal use. Cigars may not be of Cuban origin.
