Was notified by a friend's daughter yesterday that her dad passed away due to complications in surgery.
He he was not just a friend but a fellow bamboo fly fisher who I had the pleasure to fish with on several occasions, he was also a moderator on the Classic Fly Rod Forum and known there as LeakyWaders.
I know you're in a better place now and I raise this Will Purdy Tadpole with Cumberland Stem filled with Dunhill Flake. RIP Jan, you will be missed.
To all of my pipesters out there, keep it smokey.
