A couple of these have popped up on SP estates recently: I missed one that I really liked, so I jumped when this one showed up. Made by Mauro Armellini. Nothing special, but I like the shape, and the unusual shade of green on the stem. Looking forward to seeing how it smokes!

I bought a Verona Natural from my local Tinderbox in 1979 for $29.95, and it has always smoked above its pay grade. It's also darkened quite a bit in the 46 years that I've owned it.

I have a couple Verona Rusticas. And a Mauro Armellini in the middle. I always get compliments on the green stems.

I like your Verona pipe! I've had both Mauro Armellini and Verona pipes in the past but never hung on to them for some reason. However, I've had this Mauro Series II made by Armellini for at least 15 years and I really like it. Yes it's a more traditional style than most of their pipes and maybe that's why I like it, but honestly it just smokes good.
