Title shortened and caps added. Rule 9! Original:

3 recent pipe pickups - 2 unsmoked Kaywoodie Standards and a Wally Frank. Seller mistake helped me grab another NOS Kaywoodie

So I have been wanting a Canadian shape for a while and finally decided to grab a Wally Frank made in France. I'm loving it, smokes super cool and tobacco even tastes good at the very end, more so than my other pipes. I certainly am going to get another, I really dig this shape.

I bid and won an unsmoked Kaywoodie Standard, and the seller sent me the wrong pipe, it was a regular billiard. He offered 5 bucks off and for me to send the wrong one back, but I asked him if I could buy the wrong one so I could keep it and he send the correct one. So due to his mistake I now have 2! Very excited. I asked them if they had any others, since the wrong one I didn't see on his ebay page.

The stems are underclocked on both of them but this it seems came that way from the factory. No shape numbers on them either. I am going to smoke them but it pains me as one even has the the price sticker. Probably break them in with PA and CH.

Good deal for you and they look like great smokers. I actually had a somewhat similar thing happen as well.

Bought two used pipes that had lots of pictures posted. He sent them but failed to point out that one had a crack down the front of the bowl. His pictures "conveniently" left out an angle that would have shown it. When I photographed the crack and sent to him he said, "Well, that was not on there when I sent it." The crack was obviously an old one as you could see that it had blackened. He knew he was caught so he said he would send me my money back and he did. I told him I would ship damaged pipe back and he said, "Naw, just keep it."

The cracked pipe still smokes pretty well so I got two for price of one.
