EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9)

Thinking about adding on a tin of the most recent C&D Sansepolcro release with my next order of GL Pease tobaccos due to the SP.com sale right now. But I haven't seen many thoughts on it yet.

It would be my first time trying Sansepolcro!

I haven't tried the blend, although I am a C&D fan going back to the North Carolina days. It is interesting how a blend can change over time, I mean a particular batch, and improve considerably in some cases. But also how over time you can learn a blend and find all kinds of dimensions in a blend that seemed harsh, bland, or just muddled in flavor.

I only recently opened a tin of the original batch that I had.. tinned in 2017 I think.
For me the flavor is predominately nice red Virginia. The dark fired isn’t immediately perceived on the tongue, but more of an essence you can taste on the retrohale.

Hell I just now realized it had cigar leaf in it. I thought it was just reds and DFK. I might order a few more tins if they’re still available.
