Just a quick suggestion here... which would possibly save a few headaches.

Are you chaps aware that you can use CSS to automate this? I'd talk to your web designer and give an ID to any thread title DIV. It's a fix that would take literally a few minutes to do.

That way, regardless of how it's written, it'll always appear in title-case and you will never have to correct them again. You can even implement your own idiosyncracies or style choices and acceptions.
