Not the best really, but it's a great lighter. You can take the wick/fuel cylinder out while it's lit. Great for camping

My dad also had a nice size collection of Zippo lighters when he passed, and I got most of them. He was in the Army in the Vietnam war, and still had his lighter he ordered while in Vietnam. It was enscribed with his name, and said "When I die bury me face down, so the whole world can kiss my ass."

I just bought the butane pipe version insert. No more smell and no more evaporation issues. I hope.

I was looking into that too, but Zippo just replaced the entire insides of my Zippo for free.

I haven't had any evaporation issues either with the new setup.
