Yep, love it but too pricy for my blood. I seem to recall some minor drama with Tao jacking up his prices a few years back...

I yearn for a Tao pipe. I held one of his creations in the Danish Pipe Shop about a month ago and it was simply stunning. If ever proof was needed that we buy luxury goods on desire rather than price, that moment closed it for me. I had to leave the shop to stop myself pulling out the credit card and hitting the "F*@k It" button. Then I had a similar experience with a Former apple, which I've covered for a long time. Sad, sad man.

Strictly a hand-held pipe, but the insulation from the heat in the bowl is absolute.

I like that heavy stem. I have a pocket pipe, maybe a pot/Rhodesian hybrid, with

a heavy stem like that in amber that I like a lot.
