The Flattened Frog Project. A low key, six month adventure. The idea is to take some good, sweet Virginas and some decent quality Latakia and combine them. Now I have an oak spiral that has been soaking in a good single malt for a month. (Actually twice as long as recommended to get all the goodness out of the little 2 1/2 inch spiral.) The infused charred oak is sun dried (gotta love Arizona) for 48 hours then placed in the middle of about 6 - 8 ounces of the tobacco in an air tight container and forgot about for six months.

Maybe it will be a molded mess in July. Maybe too weak or too strong. Or maybe - in the words of Goldilocks - this one is just right. Time will tell, but it will get smoked no matter what. (Barring mold of course.)
