I'm glad I looked at this thread. I was going to order a few tubs of PA myself... I guess looking at a normal pouch you're not imagining a tub would be that large. Especially considering how much of a bulk blend you can pack into an 8 oz jar.

I picked up one of those Granger tins back around 2004/5 when Pinkerton was still making it. Threw it in the cellar til last year - when I retrieved it was so puffed up it looked slightly egg shaped and the plastic lid over the top wouldn’t stay on! Probably as close to a tin busting as I’ve experienced. It was delicious - but I hear the current manufacturer’s version is even better? Enjoy - it’s probably in a tie with Velvet as my favorite codger blend and nice to blend with other tobacco as well.
