BTW: You're off to a better start than I was. My first pipe was a Peterson 03 smooth bent apple Dracula series. I had quit cigarettes and took the pipe but, I smoked WAY to fast and hot. On my 4th bowl in it, in under a few hours, it started billowing white smoke. The taste was horrid and nearly burst into flame. I had to throw it in the yard it was so hot. Moral of the story, the learning experience is part of the pipe hobby.

That's a great story to learn from but, ma the loss of a Dracula! Ouch.

I actually refurbed that pipe last year and sold it to Smokingpipes as an estate. Ironically, it was my first refurb too. I fell in love with the bulldog and apples just didn't do it for me anymore.
