Curious to know if low nicotine in tobacco means less tar and also what kind has the most and least tar.

No necessarily. I don't mind either, I save up my "dottle" and smoke that for a bit of a kick.

Not reccomended practice for someone who doesn't like nic or tar :)

I wouldn't worry about it. Either you smoke a pipe or you don't. One can't pick blends to smoke because of low tar or low nicotine, and think your doing your health a favor. Life doesn't work that way. The equation is too complex. Despite several centuries of intensive scientific effort we're no closer today to understanding "it" than we ever were.
