I know exactly how you feel.
My son and I went to the TAPS pipe expo in Raleigh earlier this year. I too "donated" to the raffle, expecting nothing in return.
To my surprise I won a Luciano Bulldog.
Beautiful pipe that is fun to smoke and is displayed prominently on the shelf with my other prized briars.

Thanks again to all! The truth is,I am going to probably sell it. It's a beautiful pipe but I won't smoke it. I have a tendency to smoke meers most of the time, followed by MM Cobs(I love those pipes to!). My briar smoking is frankly, very seldom...
