Switching To Volcanic Mortar And Pestle For Flakes Etc.

I use a granite mortar for (SG) flakes. It works ok, but I'm considering a coffee grinder.
In the mortar I grind the flakes when they are dry.
I think perhaps a bit more moist flakes would work fine in a coffee grinder.
And because tools are fun.

All of you guys beating and chopping the hell out of your flakes. I just set mine on fire and then stir out the ashes.
