Unflavored black Cavendish as a single-leaf smoke and for mixing sounds good. Always mean to get it, haven't yet. I think C&D's version might be good.

orlik golden slice is very nice. And it’s available. Dans hamborger veermaster is harder to find but it’s unreal.

I tend to gravitate toward sweet Burley blends. Some of the codger blends have a nice sweetness to them but aren't considered aros. I like Lane Ltd. Ready Rubbed, Chatham Manor (a match for Carter Hall) Prince Albert, etc. Like MSO, I've also been getting into tobacco forward light aromatic blends that utilize liquors. It's a different kind of aro, IMO.

I find McConnell Scottish Cake quite a sweet smoking tobacco. I think it has a topping that makes it smell and smoke sweetly.
