Wife and I got out of the house yesterday and ended up at our local "Western" town. It's basically a movie set with a few shops selling locally-crafted wares. Found an array of hand-made Apache pipes and for $25 had to get one for the collection. The bowl is tiny -- I am not sure I will smoke it -- but it looks nice on the shelf.

Headed back to civilization and stopped into our local B&M. They have been slowly expanding their pipes and pipe-tobacco offerings and have a decent selection of Savinelli's as well as a few Pete's and Nording's. I wasn't really looking to buy another pipe, but my Wife asked the proprietor to see one of the Sav's -- a Ginger's Favorite 626 bent apple demi-churchwarden. I also liked the graceful lines and that it was a smaller bowl than my other Sav's. She gave me the green light and I brought it home.

Smoked it twice last night and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was to smoke. Very well-balanced, good length, and relatively light-weight.
