Sub-$100 Meerschaum

Anyone have recommendations for a good meerschaum under $100? I’ve heard good things about meerschaums and am now wanting to give one a shot.

If you are willing to settle for a no-name meer, there are many good estates listed on Etsy and eBay. Most will be in your specified price range.

I’d be pretty happy to get a no-name meer as long as it’s carved from block. But maybe that doesn't exist in the sub-$100 range.

If you’re not experienced with meerschaum, better to go with a respected dealer, instead of eBay. You can certainly get a solid block Turkish meerschaum pipe for under $100.

You can definitely get block meerschaum for under 100 dollars. I got one from ebay for significantly less ~ and it was new. It is a bit smaller, and it's not carved in a fancy shape...but it does the job well enough for me.

search a bit. You can find something decent but plain and some what small (not tiny) in that range pretty easily. Honestly though it's worth spending more if you can for something just that bit extra nice.

Celebimeerschaum (Ismail Celebi) on Etsy has a large selection for that range.

I've been happy with his work, both simple and affordable to intricate and pricier.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I’ve searched through all the options that you call suggested but haven't found one that has just the looks. I’ll post an update once I find one.
