I've decided to explore more small batch / pipe shop blends in lieu of the larger tobacco company offerings. My palate is more for full bodied Scottish, English and the occasional Oriental styles. I'd appreciate recommendations on tasty blends to look into. puffy

Just a reminder at the outset of your quest, many pipe shops rename standard brand name blends with their own house names to try to keep their customers coming back. So you could be buying standard Peter Stokkebey or Lane or Sutliff blends as house blends.

Usually pipe shops will reveal their sources if asked.

Watch City Cigar and LJ Peretti have some of my favorite blends like WCC Old Dominion and LJP #8 Slices.
People love Country Squire but I’ve not tried any of their blends.
People also like Boswell’s a whole lot especially Northwoods which I don’t happen care for.
Uhle’s is another shop that markets their own blends but I’ve not tried any of em. Folks seem to like their burley based blends quite a lot.

Between these 5 shops, there’s a whole world of excellent options that are in fact original blends and unique to these retailers.
