Just bought some and had my initial smoke. Orientals remain front and center throughout the smoke with a somewhat floral presence. The Virginia's sweetness is also notably present. The latakia is definitely at condiment levels providing a light smokiness in the background. Strength is a hair below medium. Certainly one I could see ordering again as I love oriental blends. The latakia is so light that, if someone wanted an oriental blend in which you practically forget the latakia is even there, than this one would fit the bill.

Have smoked about a OZ of regular SOTE Bulk and really like the complex flavor and am a bit curious to how much the Gold differs from the original, would assume the Latakia is toned down and the Oriental pumped up for the Gold. Of course the SOTE Flake is also on the curiosity list as well.
