St. Louis Pipe Show - PAD 3 of 4 - MM Diplomat

What happens when you save up money specifically to attend the St. Louis Pipe Show? Serious PAD. EMTs were called, but it was too late as I succumbed to a 4-Pipe Event over the weekend. I’ve split the PAD report into 4 Posts just because of the picture content.

Offering 3 - Missouri Meerschaum (hey, the show WAS in St. Louis - this had to be purchased...) Diplomat Vulcanite Stem. The back story on this is that the MM folks found these Vulcanite stems in a barrel hidden in storage. They loaded up these Diplomat shapes with those stems and sold them as limited items. So, yeah...

Their freehands now come with acrylic stems, I believe; my wife gave me one two Christmases ago. Forever Stems also does acrylic stems for MM cobs. So if you can't track down these -- though I do like the vulcanite stem versions -- those are other alternatives. Better stems on MM pipes is a worthy upgrade for sure.
