SP Europe Weird Return Address

Just had a pipe from SP Europe arrive in the mail and, oddly, the return address on the package is Peterson of Dublin in Ireland.

It makes no difference to me I just thought it odd. Perhaps a business partnership?

Maybe SP Europe is more of a hub or distribution center?

Yeah, Laudisi (Smoking Pipes, C&D) bought Peterson a couple years ago, and they operate SP.EU from Dublin along with Peterson. I believe it may even be the Grafton St. Peterson shop that SP operates from over there.

Makes sense.

That extra familiarity adds a nice layer of comfort/trust for people not use to ordering from another country.

Yeah I've ordered 4 or 5 times from them, and aside from an Ashton the USPS is still trying to figure out how to get the final 30 miles to my house, every experience has been excellent. And that Ashton situation isn't their fault. I had a situation on IPSD where I needed their help, and customer service was super helpful. I've been real impressed!

Good prices, excellent service, free, or very cheap, shipping... They've got it all.
