Sorry, I know this will offend the Gods, but I can't get past the cigarette taste. I am going to keep half undefiled. How dare you defile the mighty Granger with a lesser weed. Blasphemy!!!
Mix it with various components until you get something you like. Plenty of pipers customize tobacco.
I agree with you on disliking tobacco that tastes like cigarettes, for me it was SG Golden glow...sold off the unopened box and mix it with Newminster - No. 400 Superior Navy Flake....but it's up to your tastes!Sorry, I know this will offend the Gods, but I can't get past the cigarette taste. Never tried EGR, but I am not much for Latakia. The only English blend I like is Davidoff. Sounds interesting though. Also sounds like an expensive experiment.Try a Shelby Foote formula: 2/3 EGR and 1/3 Granger.
400 is my go to Virginia. I thought about that, but was hoping for something other than Virginia, that maybe somebody had already tried.I agree with you on disliking tobacco that tastes like cigarettes, for me it was SG Golden glow...sold off the unopened box and mix it with Newminster - No. 400 Superior Navy Flake....but it's up to your tastes!
good luck
It pains me to throw 36 dollars in the trash. I am hoping for a cheaper loss.
EGR only has one percent Latakia. You barely notice it. As for expense: a tin isn't that expensive, but it's your decision.Never tried EGR, but I am not much for Latakia. The only English blend I like is Davidoff. Sounds interesting though. Also sounds like an expensive experiment.
Maybe a strong flavored oriental like GLP Temple Bar?400 is my go to Virginia. I thought about that, but was hoping for something other than Virginia, that maybe somebody had already tried.
I do need to pour a few slabs. If you mix it with 4 parts crushed rock, two parts sand and one part cement, you get a satisfactory concrete...

If that is true, I might buy some just to try anyway.EGR only has one percent Latakia. You barely notice it. As for expense: a tin isn't that expensive, but it's your decision.
You probably won’t even taste the Lat. And you can buy a tin nowadays, you don’t have to buy it by the tub anymore. It’s a great blend if you like something mildly aromatic and easygoing.Never tried EGR, but I am not much for Latakia. The only English blend I like is Davidoff. Sounds interesting though. I've smoked about 20 tubs and around a dozen tins or more of EGR. At most, the Latakia is an accent. There are times it's virtually undetectable. If you do try it, please let us know what you think. If that is true, I might buy some just to try anyway.
