Some Sort of Oddity from Central Europe

I’ve seen those Ukrainian pipes before. Looks like some sort of hardwood. Don’t know how they would hold up in the long run.

We shall see ... it is odd that they do not come apart in any fashion, even the oldest Tyrol pipes I have seen sport some sort of push tenon system. This one, the Ukrainian, seems to be glued together, at least in three parts - the bowl to the shank, and the stem to the shank. At the end of the day I wouldn't imagine I would smoke it day in and day out, but as long as I can enjoy it on occasion, it still makes for a nice discussion piece for my collection.
