Snagged My First Tsuge

I've wanted a Tsuge for a long time but I don't buy pipes very often. I'd been eyeing an unsmoked estate Meerschaum in the shape of Harry Truman for my wife's birthday. (We're both history nerds and she's a Junior Chair in her chapter of her Daughters of the Revolution.

Anywho, when I went to purchase it a couple days ago I saw that smokingpipes.com was running a 20% of estate sale. And there was a Tsuge that intrigued the hell it of me.

I'd been in love with their tankard design but I'd never pulled the trigger on one. But there, sitting in the estate stock, was an unsmoked Drew Estate edition limited run Tsuge. Had to have it. And now I do.

Congrats! I love the functionality of those pipes and have been intrigued by the design. Still it's a little too modern for me, though I might be won over if the silver metal were black.
