Has anyone had a look at this year's entries? There are some interesting pieces.

I guess I'm a bit jaded. None of this year's entries raised an eyebrow.

Yeah, nothing too groundbreaking. In terms of hitting the brief and uniqueness, I like the Adam Davidson stirling silver stem. In terms of what I would be most likely to buy, the Ryan Alden. The Scottie Piersel is nice as well.

That's a wild pipe. Too crazy for me but beautiful.

That pipe by Silver with the clamshell stem was pretty neat, I like the idea of something being mechanically artistic as well.

That Todd Johnson calabash is awesome as well the way the bamboo tapers out perfectly to meet the calabash bowl.

I am sure that it is a nice pipe, but Davidson's Sterling stem looks very uncomfortable to me. People Complain about the unforgiving nature of acrylic, but actual silver?

Would be more maintenance than vulcanite as well. Extremely easy to oxidize and scratch.
