Site is Running Fast Now

Can anybody besides me notice that the site is suddenly running much faster?
We have some new programming to make that happen. For me, the pages are loading way faster than before.
The only thing that doesn't seem faster to me is making a post in the forums.
Go to the main part of the site and click on an article link.

I access this site mostly from I-phone during the day but haven't noticed it being slow to access. I will try again tonight from my laptop and see if I can notice a difference. Slow or fast, still a nice place to hang out.

I noticed a difference. Its running faster on my end. I noticed the pages aren't taking near as long to complete the load of the whole page.

I have noticed an improvement upon opening the page.

Was about 4 or 5 seconds.

Now it seems to be 2 or 3, maybe a little faster than that.
Very cool.

So it seems some guys notice a difference and some don't. We are now using browser, page, object and database caching, which is what the big boys use, like CNN, The New York Times, and such.
I have the basics installed. There is still more sophisticated stuff that can be done later as we continue to grow, like adding a CDN (Content Delivery Network).
Thanks for keeping the site busy. Having to implement stuff like this is a good thing.
