It's a Peterson patented design from way back. Mark Irwin and a bunch of other Peterson aficionados commissioned Silver to make replicas a couple of years back for their Peterson system pipes. Reviews were seemingly enthusiastic. See @jiminks' report on his NAP stem: Peterson 312 NAP Bit. :: Pipe Talk - https://pipesmagazine.com/forums/threads/peterson-312-nap-bit.72871/. Silver has now made a whole pipe with one of these stems.
I think it was $600 or $660. I didn't pay attention enough.
I saw the video of them showing off the different American stem work pretty cool video I'm sure all of those pipes are now sold.
fans out the smoke. Which seems to make from what I've heard the most difference with blends that have a lot going on.
This example is not as stout as her usual Eskimo, but Silver Gray is anything but sloppy... Either that, or I just got lucky X 3 which is highly unlikely....
