Do you have an every day carry that also serves your pipe smoking needs?
Here's mine. It's a Case Trapper. Regular blade for cutting tobacco, rounded end blade for reaming.

Mine is a kid's Opinel knife with the rounded tip. Works well and the knife is not expensive and readily available through amazon.

I've never seen a rounded tip Opinel.. I just looked on Knifecenter and ordered one.
On traditional pocket knives the rounded tip blade is called a "spey", handy they are.

Bone Stag CaseXX Stockman. I use the long clip blade for reaming, the sheepsfoot for cutting plugs and ropes, and the speying blade for braking tin seals.

Weez, I use one of those awesome carbon Opinel No.8's for cutting plugs, too. Great blade that is easily kept razor sharp. Love the rounded tip for reaming though. Hard to beat Opinel for quality/coast.
